These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ProteinLab website and the purchase of products from ProteinLab. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Information

ProteinLab operates an online store offering sports nutrition and supplement products within South Africa.

ProteinLab reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect once published on the website.

2. Products and Information

  • All product descriptions, images, and information are provided for general guidance only.
  • While ProteinLab makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that all content, pricing, or product information is error-free.
  • Product packaging, appearance, and labelling may differ slightly from images displayed on the website.

3. Orders and Acceptance

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase products subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Orders are considered accepted only once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
  • ProteinLab reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock shortages, suspected fraud, or abuse of promotions.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Full payment must be received before orders are processed and dispatched.
  • ProteinLab uses secure third-party payment providers and does not store card payment details.

5. Delivery and Shipping

  • ProteinLab delivers nationwide within South Africa via courier to door or courier to locker / pickup point, where available.
  • A flat-rate shipping fee applies nationwide and is clearly displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • A tracking number will be sent via email once an order has been dispatched.

ProteinLab is not responsible for delays caused by courier network issues, incorrect delivery details, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Damaged Items

Products may only be returned if they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging, unless otherwise required by law.

Due to the nature of consumable products, opened or used items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed only after returned products are received, inspected, and approved by ProteinLab.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If your order arrives damaged in transit, or you receive an incorrect product, you must notify ProteinLab within 48 hours of delivery.
  • You may be required to provide photographic evidence of the damaged product and packaging to support the claim.
  • Where damage or error is confirmed, ProteinLab will, at its discretion, arrange a replacement product or issue a refund, subject to product availability.
  • Damage caused after delivery, or as a result of improper handling by the customer, will not qualify for replacement or refund.

All return, refund, or damage-related requests must be directed to info@proteinlab.co.za.

7. Use of Products

  • Products sold by ProteinLab are intended for healthy adults, unless otherwise stated.
  • Customers are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional before using supplements, particularly if pregnant, nursing, under medical supervision, or taking prescription medication.
  • ProteinLab does not provide medical advice. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the ProteinLab website, including text, images, graphics, logos, branding, and design elements, is the intellectual property of ProteinLab unless otherwise stated.
  • No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from ProteinLab.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • ProteinLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or products purchased.
  • Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under South African law.
